Island Cardiology is the Full Service, Private Practice of Dr. Damian Brezinski. We are open to serve any of Dr. Brezinski's previous patients as well as new patients. We are located in Carolina Beach and serve the Greater Wilmington Area.

We accept all major insurance and will happily check your coverage before treatment. We also offer Direct Access for patients who do not qualify through insurance or do not have a referral.

Meet Dr. Brezinski

Dr. Damian Brezinski has had a long and illustrious medical career. He graduated

Sir William Osler Valedictorian from Johns Hopkins Medical School and moved on to

Harvard Medical School where he trained in the Clinical Research Medical Program.

After a brief time training in Europe he went to Duke University Medical Center for

Cardiology Fellowship.

Ultimately that led him to Wilmington NC where he proudly served in the Department

of Cardiology of Wilmington Health Associates for almost 25 years.

Dr. Brezinski decided to retire from the WHA system in 2016. He began several

non-profits but missed the practice of cardiology and decided to open his own

private practice. "
